Sunday 30 May 2004

Yakety-yak... It was quite an interesting and stressful week for me, even though it was supposedly the "last week of school'... Makes no point having June holidays anyway, cos I have to go back to school every week for full-day lessons... Here's what has happened so far this week...

THURSDAY 27052004
School as usual, but I managed to get an excuse to skip History. Mrs Pang managed to get the towel manufacturer guy to come down to our school, so it saves us a trip to his factory instead. Anyway, she wanted me there to oversee the entire towel business, so I dragged Derek and Yi Cheng with me... The design for the towel was settled there, then he also offered us some different colours for variety... There was peach, blue, yellow, and some other colours, but there wasn't any mention of pink towels whatsoever. So, being the pink enthusiast that I normally am, I demanded for the towels to be available in pink. Then Mrs Pang stared at me with that incredulous look on her face, and that guy was a bit taken aback, but he agreed to try for pink. Derek and Yi Cheng knowingly smiled behind my backs... The day was basically quite monotonous until tuition at night. Peirong was her usual sadistic self. Whenever we are stuck with any problems, she'll plaster a wide grin on her face and teach us enthusiastically... Biru was the crazy bird, Ngoh surprised us by turning up for tuition after his absence for two weeks, Yurong was quite normal until towards the end of tuition. That Yurong arh, because she didn't know how to get the answer to a question, and I managed to work out the answer to that same answer, so naturally she wanted to see my paper to see how I got it. But she didn't understand what I wrote, so she conveniently crumpled up MY paper with the solution to that question that I probably spent ten minutes on. After that was utter chaos. Biru and Yurong were chasing each other crumpling all the papers that they could get their hands on, then I was adding to the noise by singing 'Que Sara Sara" at the top of my voice. Needless to say, they crumpled up the rest of my papers as well... Then me and Yurong teamed up on table soccer to thrash everybody's sorry asses. You have to admit we make a good team, with Yurong on attack and me on defence. Darren and Yongwen lost to us miserably, Ashley lost terribly, everybody lost to us... Invincibility...

FRIDAY 28052004
Last day of school, so everything had to be rushed and settled before the holidays. I finally got my hands to the first consignment of the CH Bears, so I was able to distribute to all those who have ordered. Then Mrs Pang was finalising a lot of admin details with me, everyone else were very busy as well, so there was utter chaos everywhere again. Mrs Pang signed out 50 CH Bears from the office in the morning, and by the end of the day, the distribution was so efficient that all 50 Bears were sold. Of course, I was in charge... Anyway, with Jun Rong as overall Treasurer, he collected $625 from the sales. Not bad, with more money expected as a lot of people have yet to pay up... After school I had to lug all my textbooks home, but before that I went for lunch with Wilfred and Luke, then stopped by the PE office to take my weight. I weigh 52 kg without my bag and all the textbooks I'm carrying, but with the additional weight I gain 8 kg... Brought Fred and Luke to Jericho, then I went home to bathe before going down to corp at 1730. The barbeque was on that night, then went there to help prepare. Luke and Fred decided to drop by halfway, but they went home straight after dropping by... Games was kind of a flop, then Cheryn was a bit pissed. But the rest of the barbeque was quite okay. Yan Peng was complaining about the chicken wings either being overcooked or not cooked, then Dora was nodding her head in agreement... Matthew, Daniel and Kat finally came back from Europe. And when Kat asked me about my exams, it was "Err... I did better in A Maths than E Maths..." So Kat was suggesting that now I should get E Maths tuition instead of A Maths alone... Yurong was suggesting to me that we go over to Jericho and bring the soccer table to corp and play... The food was quite good. The sausages were exceptional, then the wings were eatable and the sting-rays were delightfully spicy and yummy... Nothing much after that, so I just hung around in the office with Ngoh studying for his O's Chinese on Monday, then giving Michelle some practice with her Chinese words...

SATURDAY 29052004
Did nothing at all for the entire day. My aunt came over in the morning, then went out of lunch. That was the most exciting part of the day... Then after lunch I came home and was so bored that I decided to watch TV, something I haven't did for quite some time... Anyway, I was channel-surfing, then stopped abruptly at Vasantham Channel and just lapped up the Indian movies that they were showing... It was quite boring, cos that Indian show was about some family betrayal, but there wasn't any Englich subtitles, so I'm just watching the action without understanding anything that I'm watching... But the best bit was the sing'n'dance parts... You will see a plain wide plateu with very nice backdrops initially, but suddenly the music will begin and you will see one crowd of dancers spring up, then there will always be that man and woman dancing in the foreground, and the surplus crowd of dancers will dance in a perfect synchronised and isochronal dance step... Quite entertaining seeing all those well-choreographed dance steps and the lively music... Then at night gave Cheryn a call, was feeling quite alert until the point when she asked "Are you tired? Do you want to sleep? Are you yawning?", then I invariably started yawning to her stupefacient voice and went to sleep...

SUNDAY 30052004
When I woke up I initially wanted to go for service, but felt like staying home for the entire day... So I did some homework, slacked a bit, then went out to Takashimaya with my family... I didn't do much there as well, as me and my sis hid in Kino-Books for about an hour or so while my parents went shopping... Bought an interesting book home, then went for lunch there, my sis, being the sumo wrestler that she is, kept punching me because I kept disturbing her... Until when we reached home, my sis wanted Perfect 10 on the radio, but I refused as I wanted Class 95, so she hit me again, and I came to the computer to listen to delirious and hillsongs...

Tuesday 25 May 2004

Eh hyak... It was a very slacky day today. First thing in the morning I was feeling so darn sleepy already... Morning assembly for sec 4s was held in the hall, cos there was this special talk held by some old boy from my school. Goodness, it was literally monotonous with no hint of excitement at all. The speaker was a certain Dr Yeo, then his talk was entirely about Mao Zedong, and he will speak in Chinese, then suddenly switch to English, so it was very taxing for my brain to constantly switch languages... After that it was lessons as normal, but very slack. After school I contacted that guy at the textile printing factory, then he was quite helpful in providing all the details. And when he asked for my name, I was lucky I didn't gave mine, so I used Derek's name instead. Whew... If I gave my name, then I'll be a marked man with all the busy admin stuff... Anyway, Mrs Pang helped us settled all the other necessary quotations and logos and stuff. Yicheng and Luke and me then went down to the field to see the softball match between RI and my school. Man, our school softball team is way too good... I witnessed a home-run by our guys, then after the first inning all of RI's batters were out. Pity I didn't stay till the end, cos I left to go Jericho halfway. Joseph was there slacking, Cheryn was there stoning, Peirong was there reading Sweet Valley... Then Cheryn came up with this brilliant idea to go jogging at the park, so I went... Jogged for about 20 minutes, came back with a red-faced Cheryn and me with my arms aching from the jog...

So now I'm here, arms aching and limping but still managing to type out all these words on the keyboard...

Monday 24 May 2004

I've been staring into space a lot of times these past few days. Goodness knows what is wrong with me, but I think space is extremely nice to stare at... Yar right, whatever... I caught myself staring into space so many times these past few days that I'm getting a bit amazed at the number of times... Then everyone around me will start waving their hands in front of my eyes when they see me staring into space. Again I'm also astonished at the number of times this has happened as well...

Yup. I'm definitely doing a lot of pebbling lately... My mind just wanders and the brain starts to think of a lot of things, then the facial expression just goes blank... I sort of prefer this screen saver mode on my face. It's expression-less, then people don't know what you're thinking with that blank look on your face... Except that people always start waving whenever my eyes are fixed on a certain point for a very long time... It's a bit irritating, cos you're in the middle of some thought, then your eyes see some idiot waving at you, then that thought just vanishes and you automatically just focus on that idiot waving...

I'm getting a lot of sleep these few nights... I used to go to bed at 2300, but now it's getting earlier to 2100 or thereabouts... My bed-time is slowly getting earlier and earlier, but I'm not complaining... To quote from Cheryn: "you can never die from too much sleep", so I'll just grab all that extra sleep-time since there isn't any side effects from sleeping too much...

Cheryn is weird. She called me last night and kept going BOO then I just had to play along and say EEK, and she repeated this at least 20 times in succession... Mrs Bala is weird. She says my compo paragraphs are too short, when they are perfectly fine to me. My sister is weird. She is suffering from an aggressive nature.

Err... Either the world is getting weird, or it's my veiwpoint that's weird... Whatever... To the pebbles I may give a nut...

Friday 21 May 2004

I'm staring into space right now... Actually I'm not, I'm more of staring at this computer screen and thinking whether that screen will eat me up or not. I think this world is too heavily dependant on all these lousy evil machines. Look at it: there's that darn TV, this computer and the Internet, then there's those microwave ovens, fans, screen projectors, portable music players, handphones... I think sooner or later all these machines will gang up and eat us all humans up. CHOMP CHOMP.

But I am smart. I do not depend heavily on all these machines. For starters, I rarely watch TV. Then I do not have any handphones; the worst I've ever done is chat on the good old HOUSE PHONE... And I limit my Internet surfing to emails and blogs, so I have nothing to do with MSN or ICQ or anything of that rubbish.

Whatever. Use them machines too much, stare at them machines too much, and they'll all eat you up. CHOMP. I told Cheryn that the TV will eat her up. I told Faith that MSN will swallow her up whole. I told Shao Hong that that handphone will soon chomp him up. Whatever. I better get off the computer soon, before it decides to chew me up as well...

Wednesday 19 May 2004

WOOHOO!! I absolutely love the way things are going on right now... I think by June I'll have EVERYTHING going my way, exactly where I want them to go. The days are just getting better and better each day... The CH Bear orders were quite encouraging, got the necessary contacts from Mrs Pang, class spirit and cooperation has been superb, friends around me are starting to turn very sweet and nice all of a sudden... It's a great life that I'm leading right now... Time practically flew out of the window, so everything that has happened yesterday and beyond seemed like donkey years ago... CHOMP!!

Monday 17 May 2004

Today was sort of like a very pointless day at school. I woke up feeling so darn tired that I was in a very snappy mood for the entire day... Then at school during morning assembly Dansen was supposed to represent my class to make an announcement on the CH Bears that we are selling, but I didn't inform him about it, so he wasn't prepared at all. And the worst thing was another class went ahead with THEIR announcement. They are also selling the CH Bear, and their promotion gimmick was far better than ours. Mrs Pang was afraid that we'll lose out to the competition, so she asked me to go up to inform the school that my class is selling the bear as well. Goodness, I didn't plan what to speak, so I just stood in front of the mike and basically ad-libbed the entire impromptu announcement. My mind wasn't functioning well at that time, then to speak in front of the whole school when I'm in a sleepy mood... I think I threw in a lot of "Ehs", but Luke told me later that the announcement was okay... At least it made sense... After assembly the Chinese students had to go for their revision, so the class was left with very little people... The teachers couldn't teach with half the class missing, so they just gave us revision papers to do... After school I went down to the VP's office with Yicheng and Shao Hong. We were there to ask the VP's opinions on some marketing business ideas that my class have come up with. Not bad, the VP looked quite interested in the proposals that we are giving him... Then after a hasty lunch, I had to rush down for NAPFA test. Half the class decided to skip the test, so the class was again left with abysmal proportions... Anyway, I managed to pull through all my stations except standing broad jump... I failed the jump by a deficit of 8 cm below the passing mark. It's quite sickening, cos I can do all the other tests EXCEPT broad jump...

Yup, I've changed the layout of this blog... There's that irritating and annoying clock which keeps following the cursor, then there's a much neater and clutter-free border... And yes, this blog is staying pink FOR GOOD/FOREVER. Pink is the only decent colour around that seems awfully brilliant...

Saturday 15 May 2004

Ehlo... This week is one of the most hectic days I had since exams are over. *WHEE*... I seriously have no idea how time flew, cos Prelim 1 ended like eons ago... Anyway, I got back all my prelim results... I PASSED ENGLISH!! The pure bliss of it... Initially I only got back comprehension, then I was thinking like I'm so going to fail, but my composition got quite good marks, so I ended up passing. But I failed both my Humanities papers... It was the absurdity of all results, I have to fail Geography by one miserable mark, then Combined Humanties was also a revoltingly failed result...

Went to J8 on Thursday with Dora and Luke to get Andre's birthday present... We got him a nice shirt from the children's department, then Dora kept going like "it's too big for him" but I though the shirt was too small... Then we wanted to get a nice and big milk bottle to stuff the shirt in it, but we couldn't find any that was big enough. So we intended to go to Prime to see if they have milk bottles, while Luke stayed at J8 to meet his friend. Walked all the way to Prime, then there was this awesome big milk bottle with a lot of kiddy toys in it... At Jericho Dora managed to roll the shirt nicely and fit in the bottle snuggly... Then I helped her with her Chemistry for a while, went home to bathe, came back for tuition, then went home again...

My class is taking on a "500-bear" challenge. Firstly, the school Principal ordered 1500 of these Catholic High Bears which he intended to market to the entire school. So, being the smart guy that I normally am, I promptly told Mrs Pang that my class will sell those bears. So Mrs Pang went to tell the P, then she put down reservations for 500 bears for my class to sell. All proceeds go to the school building funds, then one CH Bear is for $25... Mrs Pang kept up her superb spirits by asking practically all the teachers to purchase a bear, then my class was quite enthusiastic about the project, which is a good thing...

So the entire of yesterday, I was running up and down to coordinate this thing or that, I had to talk to the P and VP, then Mrs Pang, then the class... So I quickly became dizzy after a while... But it wasn't too bad, cos it was quite fun. After school I'm supposed to go all the way to Punggol just to pass Faith her letter, but I wasn't in that kind of condition to travel long distances, so I called her to come to Bishan instead... She hopped in a taxi and arrived here in 15 minutes, so I didn't have to wait too long... Chatted with her for a while, then I went up to the top of the multi-storey carpark next to my school. It was a fabulous view up there, then I saw Luke jumping around in the class. Well, he spotted me too, so he was at the window, then I was at the carpark, and we waved... Yup. Then I got down from the carpark, then I went to Bishan Park to do QT for a while. I had nothing better to do anyway... After that I went down to Jericho, Peirong was trying to search for her Chunky soup but couldn't find it anywhere, then Yurong was in a bad mood because the Chunky soup couudn't be found... Then Cheryn wanted to go home to get her crayons to draw, so I ended up tagging along, at the same time went to get Peirong another can of Chunky soup... On the way we saw Felix, so as usual he was trying to saw me... Waited outside Cheryn's house while she got the crayons, then Felix stayed at home to play computer games... Then after she locked her door, she suddenly became a chicken and went "po-pokeh"... Actually she was just asking me to help her keep her keys cos she doesn't have POCKETS, but I distinctively heard her "POCKETS" as "PO-POKEH"... Eh, then went to get the Chunky soup, went back to Jericho, played table soccer, then Dora came, then went to play guitars with Yurong and with Cheryn on vocals... At around 1800 or so I went back home first, then Cheryn and Dora went to J8... That's when the trouble began. I got home and was surprised to find another set of keys in my pockets, then I realised I forgot to return Cheryn's keys... I meant to return it to her when I go for cell later, but I eventually left the keys on my table and forgot all about it... At around 1900 Dora gave me a ring to ask what kind of cake would Andre prefer. Erm, she gave me 3 choices: there's mocha, blueberry and strawberry, so I told her to get the pink strawberry one. She hung up, but called me back 3 minutes later to say that Cheryn asked her to defy me cos pink cakes are the sort of cakes that I would get for MY birthday, not Andre's... But I told Dora to defy Cheryn as well, and just get that brilliantly pinkish cake... Eh heh... Went down to corp with Andre's present unwrapped, so I brought along tape and wrapping paper... Never ask me to wrap anything, cos I'm hopeless at that art... Dora managed to wrap the present. Worship led by Ben Wong was another moving experience... Then Cheryn wasn't feeling too well, plus I forgot to bring her keys to return her, so she kept trying to poke me... Chris Chen was doing a lesson on bondage breaking, then there was this survey to let us fnd out ourselves what kind of supernatural stuff that we've experienced before and that kind of thing... Then in cell we were celebrating Andre's birthday. When Andre put on that shirt that we got him, it turned out that Dora was right... That shirt looked about two sizes too big for puny Andre, such that it looked like the shirt swallowed him... Then Della had this sudden crazy idea to play hide and seek, then my cell members went berserk over the idea and all of them demanded to play as well... How could I refuse them?? So me and Yurong ended up the seekers and Della, Rachel, Dora and Andre went to hide... Andre was the first to be found, then me and Yurong saw the three girls standing in a row TOGETHER just outside the entrance, then when they saw me and Yurong, they screamed and ran... What a pointless game... Then they went to hid for the second time, me and Yurong cornered Andre and he was caught easily again... Then Dora was found as well, and Della and Rachel was found as well... After that Yurong and me became the hiders... Goodness, we were smart. We went straight to the 3rd floor lift landing, and then got out of the window panes to the ceiling balcony... Ben Wong and his cell were very supportive as well, they left us with two panes unlocked and kept our hiding place secret. So for a while we were just enjoying the "top-of-the-world" scenery, then we saw Rachel came up and she couldn't find us, so we had a good laugh... But Della and Andre came up later and they were more sharp... They managed to spot Yurong and me, so we were caught, but hey, they still took a longer time to search for us than we did with them... HAHA... Then Cheryn was still very grumpy cos she still wasn't feeling too well and she wanted her keys back, but I was lazy as I didn't want to go all the way back to my house and come down to corp again just to return her keys, so she was like going to murder me... In the end, after a long discussion of how she was going to get her keys back, and after I kept apologising and feeling very bad and guilty, I just promised her to return her keys ASAP, but that is going to be at least 3 days later or so... Quite bad, so I'm just hoping she'll be able to endure the inconvenience without her keys at least till when I return it to her...

Think I'll go get more sleep now... My brain is woozy and I think the world is spinning too fast...

Wednesday 12 May 2004

Howdy... The past few days have been quite eventful, so much so that I'm getting a bit wozzy from all the excitement. First there's my prelim results... I did quite okay for most of the subjects, flunked Geography by one lousy mark, practically the entire level failed English... I think my results were good enough... I'm not really complaining, cos it was above my expectations... But still, I think I could have done better. So I'll have to start studying for Prelim 2 soon... Yesterday was my 2.4 km test. Goodness knows what's wrong with me, I only managed 13:37 minutes. During practice the last time, I got a 12:36, so I actually "improved" my timing by an entire minue slower. But it's okay, I passed anyway... Although I don't think I will pass my standing broad jump. I can never jump far... Yup, then yesterday was also my Chemistry practical exam. I was supposed to get zinc carbonate, but I put down some other compound. Today was Physics practical. It was quite manageable, only thing was the last sub-question where I couldn't remember the resistance formula...

Andre's birthday is this Sunday, so I have to get him a nice present in time... Heck, if Cheryn didn't remind me, I'd have forgot clean about it. According to Dora, I'm supposed to go get the present with her, then help her with her Chemistry... Then the last time was me helping her with Chinese... Eh... I'm worthy and valuable...

I've been having a lot of weird dreams lately. I guess it's due to all the queer stuff that I'm subjected to everyday... Cheryn is laughing at everything that she finds hilarious, Luke is becoming more and more professional like a clown, my sister is a sumo wrestler, Dora is calling me seabird droppings... Bleaugh... What a life I'm leading...

Yup. That's my life for the past few days in a nutshell. Went over to Cheryn's house today to give her a "supposedly-surprise-but-she-knew-already" home visit, then sat there watching TV... The school's low-fat ice-cream was brilliant... The ants just outside my school gate were humongous... Homework has been quite scarce these few days, so I'm practically rotting like a decomposed log. I can feel my brain starting to atrophy already... Inactivity looms ahead...

Tuesday 4 May 2004

Hóla... Slept at 1930, but just woke up to do QT with God... Don't really know where to begin my account for the past few days. As far as I'm concerned, many things have happened and many are in the process of taking place right now...

Somehow or rather, this week's Sunday was quite eventful. Normally, my Sundays are my most peaceful and quiet day of the week, but for some unknown reason, the last Sunday I had was more of a noisy affair... I woke up to the phone ringing, then my sister was trying to punch me. Then I went down for service, sat through the worship, then I became hungry halfway, so Chris Ngoh and Caleb and me went to the market to get some food. Caleb got a blueberry waffle, while Ngoh and me got cheese waffles. Then while we were walking back, Ngoh saw these earthworms on the pavement (it was raining) and he wanted to put them into a bag to give to Lurong, but didn't... I wanted to muck those worms, but didn't... Then saw Michelle at the traffic light, saw Biru and Lurong just outside corp, saw Cheryn at the entrance to corp. Then Ngoh was playing with Cheryn's hair, then he passed me her hair band. So I tried to put it back on her neck, but I think I opened it a wee bit too wide, and the lousy thing just snapped... Then later in the day, my sis passed me HER hair band, and I held it so gingely that I didn't dare to touch it... Anyway, leader's meeting was on at 1300. By the time it ended at 1530, I was almost bursting from a severe lack of activity. Imagine two and a half hours just sitting there... Then at night I had dinner at the golf course, somebody called me when I reached home (can't remember who), then I went to sleep...

The past two days in school has been quite slack as well... Mrs Bala didn't want to begin formal lessons yet, so we rotted like decompose during her classes. Ms Tan started teaching on vectors, Mdm Sharifah was doing something on some SS topic... Then yesterday my class altered the seating arrangement in the class, such that there was a huge gap in the center of the class and everybody was crowded to the flanks of the class. Ms Tan wasn't too happy about it, but she didn't show it, so I told her we'll be sitting in a huge circle the next day... So now I'm sitting with Shao Hong and OZY. Ms Tan commented why Luke wasn't sitting with me anymore, cos according to her, Luke sitting next to me got positive influence... Ha! I'm spreading positive influence... Anyway, Luke topped the class for our physics prelim. He got an all-time high 74 (first time for him...), so for the entire of today, he was gloating about it and in a good mood... I only managed a 59, but that was quite good by my standards already. Considering that I went into the exam hall with the mind preparation that I'm going to fail physics, and that I didn't fail but PASSED, so I'm quite satisfied... Good job Guan You and good result Luke...

Mrs Pang cried in class today... She was collecting $26 for some pupil development programmes from those students who don't have GIRO accounts, but the stupid thing was that the sum she collected didn't tally with what she is supposed to collect. So in the end, she emptied all her own money in an attempt to cover up for what was lacking, but even that wasn't enough, so she just sat there and cried... Then I saw her at the General Office submitting the money, so I asked her about the monetary dispute, but she said it didn't matter... I think with her frame of mind at that time, she wouldn't be willing to say the problem, so I didn't press her for it...

A lot of times these few days, I'm tempted to complain my loudest about the way things are going on right now, but I guess it's the way you handle the stress. To me, complaining is never my character trait. So, much as I would like to complain, I always end up suffering in silence. Sometimes I wish my life was a lot more easier than what I have to go through. I absolutely dissent the position I'm in right now. But I'm constantly reminded of the positive things in my life... My parents are giving me a lot of support, Mrs Pang has been a constant encouragement in my life, my sister (although she may not show it) still cares enough to get me little pinky stuff that she thinks I'll like... Then I'm wonderfully blessed to have an awesome friendship with all my close friends... I think it's not so much of the stuff that you go through, but the little things that really matter to your heart. I've learnt a lot these few days... No matter if it's just someone throwing lame jokes, someone acting like a complete clown, someone who would bother to ask you how you're feeling today, someone holding your hand while chatting nonsense... I'm really learning to appreciate the good things around me. Thank you God for the sweet, sweet things that You put in my life...

Saturday 1 May 2004

Eh... I'm really slacking my guts out over the last two days, so much so that I'm quite sick from having so much free time... Whoo... Here's a blow-by-blow account over the last 48 hours of my life...

Thursday at school was quite pointless. In the morning was this workshop, then there's this lady explaining to us about what hairstyles suit our temperaments, then what colours we should be dressed in and other stuff. Anyway, I discovered that I'm of autumn-temperament. So according to the speaker, I should avoid all blue clothings and accesories... Nah... I don't exactly go for blue anyway; PINK RAWKS... Then the second half of the workshop was how to act like a gentleman and "gentleman-ly ettiquettes". Then after recess was supposed to be double periods of Chinese, but our Chinese teachers decided that it was plain stupid to have any lessons now that our prelims are over, so they allowed us to play soccer/basketball in the field. After that was a house meeting, which was very pointless as well. All they did was talk about the upcoming sports day, then it was "Gimme a E! Gimme a D! ... What does it spell? EDWARD!" After school Luke was trying to contact me but I was uncontactable, then at night tuition was bonkers. Prelims are over, so I didn't exactly have to be present, but I went anyway. Yurong was doing this crazy train-thingy and then singing some kids tune. Then Biru joined in and I imitated them. Yurong kept singing She Bangs, then Chris Ngoh was a bit passive. After tuition, Yurong wanted to continue our table-socer challenge. We were racing to see who reached 100 goals, then the score was KIV-ed at 83 vs 86, with me at 83. I managed to equalise till 92 vs 92, so it was down to the last crucial eight goals. But Yurong got two long strikes then she won 97 to 100... I lost by a mere measly three goals! THREE GOALS!! I think we've been playing for more than a month, then I lost by three goals... Sad ending. Came home for a late dinner, then was about to sleep when Cheryn called me. So I stayed up a little while longer to talk crap with her, then called Luke after that to find out why he's been trying to contact me. He was this groggy and sleepy rat, so I let him sleep some more... Then I went to sleep at 2210...

Friday was much more hyper-activitied. Morning was inter-class games. I wasn't playing in the class team, but I was there on the field to support, then those subs and those not playing had a mini-game among themselves. I got sunburnt slightly, then for the rest of the day everyone kept asking me why I looked tanner. After recess was a Physics practical, where there was this metal wire and accumulator and a battery and a lot of crocodile clip wires. The graph plotted was supposed to be a straight line, but I drew a curve initially then had to re-draw it. But the worst thing was Dora borrowed my pencil on Thursday night, so the graph paper was there on the table and I couldn't draw anyhting without a pencil. Then Chris Lim let me use his pencil, but we had to alternate, so I drew my scale, then passed back to let him plot his points etc. After the practical I sat through Chinese and Chemistry lessons feeling very sleepy. After school, I followed Yicheng and Luke to Junction 8 to get some food. We walked there, got straight to the basement to eat up some deliciously deep-fired Old Chang Kee's. Then we got up to KFC to get chocolate ice creams, and that basically settled my lunch for the day. I saw Emmeline, then saw Joanne with her friends. Had a short chat with Joanne, then we saw Shao Hong with his girl "Ah-Yun" at the MRT, all dressed up to go to the beach. Then Luke went to meet his old flame Bithea, Yicheng went home and I went down to Jericho. Played table-soccer again, and I was surprised to win Ben... It just wasn't his day, cos he kept missing his shots. Then I sat down stoning/pebbling for a while, saw Michelle plopped down onto the couch to sleep, so I decided to plop down onto the couch as well. Then Michelle passed me her blue-nosed bear, then before I knew it, I fell asleep with the bear on my lap. I think I slept for about an hour or so, then woke up to somebody screaming... Then Cheryn popped in front of my eyes and tried to mess my hair, but I was quicker and managed to mess hers first... Ah-hahaha... Then she kept trying to disturb me with her dragonfly with crocodile clips for antennas. Then Michelle demanded for more pillows, which I gladly creamed her with, and Cheryn was reading from her English exam comprehension passage, about some creature called frogfish and about some cricket eating insect legs and don't know what stripes or spots for camouflage... My mind wasn't really awake at that time... Then she went for her tuition, Dora returned me my pencil, I woke Michelle up for fun, and I decided to go home for more sleep. Had dinner at home, then went for cell group with my sister later in the night. Worship was quite moving, led by Lurong. Then during testimonies, Ebenezer was talking about rare buses and his life experiences... I like Ebenezer. He's a very nice guy. Then Chris Chen gave a very thought-provoking message about Daniel, the guy in the lions' den. Halfway through, Andre came in! Goodness, this marked the first time that I have a complete cell group, with Andre, Dora and me. After the message, Cheryn and Felix kept trying to saw me, Andre was spraying some deodorant which made me sneeze, Lizzy had a new hairdo (nice!), Peirong was celebrating her birthday in advance, Ngoh was in an awesome pink shirt, Michelle lent me her blue-nosed bear again. That bear is a good bear... I kept poking it and it never once flinched or scream, unlike Cheryn... My cell went to the second floor lift landing for sharing... Then me and Dora went to play with those kiddy toys which you push the beads in a metal wire with curly and funny trails. I returned Michelle her bear, Cheryn was still trying to saw me, then I went home for more sleep...

I had breakfast at the market with my family this morning. Went walking through the market with my sister, then I was tempted to buy this PINK book-binder strap, but didn't in the end. And I discovered an interesting fact: if I press hard on my sister's nose, she will swing her fists at me... I'm still a T-Rex, I eat meat. CHOMP...
